Carolina's Message

 Carolina's Message

Carolina was a little girl who wanted to spread the message of girl equality in her village. One of the ways to spread her message was at the speech contest. The speech contest was a contest at a minuscule scale where a panel of experts judged.

Finally, it was the big day to spread her message! So, Carolina summoned up her valor and took a deep breath. At the contest, people talked about racecars, thoughts and plethora of things. Carolina was intrigued by the speeches but then it was her turn. With bated breath, she walked upon the stage. Actually, she didn't prepare her speech and she had just penned down her thoughts on an amber piece of paper.

So she scurried on the stage and she screeched on the mic, "Hiii!" A man shouted, " Come on, tell the speech, quick!" Everybody had shut their ears as a horrible screech occurred and then everybody shushed the man. The man infuriated sat down on his seat.

Carolina continued," Hello, well, ummm, Are girls empowered? Well, even if girls and women have proved themselves, yet we see inequality? Tell me, for how many generations will girls be treated with inequality? About 132 million girls are not able to study at school. We need to change and to change we need to improve and it will all start if we support girls. Let them raise their voices and get the stage they deserve! Thankyou!"

Everybody clapped and after all, the panel of experts were impressed. Carolina was in content and joyous that she won the trophy but she was even happier that she could spread her message.

The End.

The Beach

My Poem- The Beach ⛱️ I really love the beach and I did have the best time there when I was 2 or 3 years old and I had made a sand-castle. I even tried to swim and I have an excuse not to since I thought there was an alligator 😂 I had a really lovely, peaceful time that remains in my blurry moment...😊

Dreams

We all have dreams whether we are a little child or a giant business typhoon. Dreams are visualizations and we yearn and long for them to come true. They are inexplicable but you want them to be fulfilled. They are like feelings, passions and wishes mixed together into a sweet and tingly  mixture.  They are like your desires and give you a sense of hope, determination, perseverance and creativity to delve deep into a road with obstacles. Dreams don't come when we slumber, but are there when we are awake with a ray of hope that our dream could still spark. We wait and contemplate over it repeatedly but the question is: "When will the dream come true?"

The Rose

The rose was in its still and beauteous bed, It was standing upright and wisely. The mesmerizing scent to the garden led  With its sweet fragrance nicely. The rose was in a plum-color hue,  At night, under the white, enthralling moonlight In the morning, it is crimson in view. It would sheen with a color so bright. The rose gazed at the blue flake paint, The bed was laden with thorns, obstructing the air. In the moonlight, the hue would be so faint  Standing so beautiful, so fair.  The rose had thorns which were spiny, Making it herculean to touch. And the rose was sturdy and tiny And it's scent sprawled too much. The rose bloomed with stillness, And was peaceful in the dark. The rose handled the garden's wilderness And would see the linnets and larks.                                                  -Anika Arora please do comment 😊
